Skate Club is a sporting program with a difference. No whistles and no uniforms – just personal progression and having fun.

The program is broken into two different levels, each level incorporates an elevated degree of technical difficulty, covering the basics of street and transition skateboarding.

What is Skate Club?

Skate Club provides a supportive learning environment with a social focus. It's more of group mentoring program rather than a lesson. We recommend that beginners complete at least one private lesson before joining Skate Club.

Skate Club (Intermediate)

Skate Club is a regular group session held weekly.

The sessions are aimed at children aged 6-12 who have some basic skills and interested to further develop their skating.

The instructors provide a positive and encouraging environment that supports the children to develop at their own pace and in their own style. The small group sessions have a social focus to meet and connect with other young skaters.

Skate Club (Advanced)

Once you've graduated from Skate Club's intermediate level, the advanced level is a master class, which is the next step towards competition skateboarding and being a part of the Rivers Skate team!

This semi-formal lesson is held weekly and focuses on creating an environment where the participants encourage and support one another towards new achievements.

Working towards participating in the Skate Park Leagues competitions (SPL), the sessions focus on advanced skills development and competition preparation. Participants are supported to develop their competition runs and to participate in the SPL competition at Riverslide Skate Park
