Australia’s only full-time managed public skate facility, Riverslide is second to none in the provision of high quality facilities, programs and services to the skate park community.
Location
A short walk or skate from Flinders St Station, Riverslide Skate Park is located in the picturesque Alexandra Gardens just outside the Melbourne CBD.
Car Parking
- On street parking is available on boathouse drive, this parking is metered between 10am - 3pm Monday to Friday and is free on weekends.
- Street parking is also available in Linlithgow Avenue and Alexandra Avenue past the Swan Street Bridge
- Under cover parking is available at Federation Square.
Opening Hours
Riverslide Skate Park is free and open to the public at all times.
Staffed Hours
There are qualified supervisors working at the skate park during specific hours each day. We're happy to help out!

Night sessions
Every night (weather permitting) the skate park is lit under flood lights until 8pm (10pm on Fridays).
Facilities
The facility is staffed all year round and the onsite skate shop and café has all you need to keep you rolling and a nice place to chill and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Riverslide Skate Park is owned by City of Melbourne and managed by YMCA Victoria. We work with a number of community, sports and government bodies to offer opportunities for all our participants. YMCA is the leader in community and recreation facility management. We aim to provide the best in community care and services.
